Will it make things up?
It's built not to. Answers are written only from your ingested content and pinned facts, and each claim cites its source. If your content doesn't cover a question, Assist says so and, if you've set a handoff email, offers to bring in a person.
What counts as a question, and what does it cost?
One AI-written answer. Each site gets 250 free every month, then it's $0.01 per question ($10 per 1,000). Search is free and unlimited on every tier.
What happens when the free questions run out?
Without a card on file, the widget falls back to instant search until the month resets, and you pay nothing. With a card, pay-as-you-go carries on against a budget you set.
How does it learn my content?
Publish a JSON content index from your build, point it at an Edge Storage bucket, or give it your URL to crawl. It checks for changes automatically and clears its answer cache when content changes.
How big a site can it handle?
500 pages per site on the free tier and 10,000 once pay-as-you-go is on. Our Expert Services team builds custom deployments for larger knowledge bases.
Can someone copy my sitekey and spend my quota?
No. The sitekey is public but locked to your registered hostname and its subdomains. Per-visitor rate limits stop bots draining your budget.
