Live demo

Ask it something

This runs a real Assist conversation against this site's live content. Ask a question and watch retrieval, citations and the streamed answer happen. Nothing is staged.
1

The question

A live demo, politely rate limited: 10 questions every 5 minutes per visitor.

2

The sources

Before a word is written, Assist retrieves the most relevant passages from this site's index. These are what the answer is grounded in, and the citations a visitor can check.

Waiting for a question…

3

The answer

The answer streams in here, word by word, with links to the pages it came from. Ask something this site doesn't cover and Assist will say so rather than make something up.

Under the hood

What you just watched

One request, one stream. The sources arrive before the first word, so every claim in the answer can point back to a page.
  • Retrieve: the question is matched against this site's index and the best passages come back first
  • Cite: those passages become the source list and the inline links
  • Compose: the answer streams over server-sent events, built only from what was retrieved
  • Repeat questions come straight from the site's answer cache, still streamed

Building your own interface? The same endpoints are documented in the Assist API reference.

Timings are illustrative. The demo above shows your real ones.

The integration

All of that, from one line

Point Assist at your content, paste the snippet, done. Rather not touch your code yet? Every site also gets a hosted assistant page you can link to.
