Edge CDN
Your site, served from the edge nearest every visitor
A dedicated CDN on 988 locations run by independent operators. Caching, image optimisation, instant purge and free SSL are built in, and bandwidth never appears on your bill.
Free for 3 deployments and 500k requests a month. Hard-capped, so it never bills by surprise.

How it works
Live in three steps, not three sprints
There's no proprietary runtime and no migration project. Point a hostname at Edge and the network does the rest.
- 01
Create a deployment
Choose an origin: any URL, your own server or an Edge Storage bucket. The defaults suit most sites, and you can tune TTLs and rules later. - 02
Add one DNS record
Point your hostname at the CDN. The SSL certificate is issued in under a minute and renews itself. - 03
Serve from 988 locations
Each visitor reaches the nearest healthy node. The cache warms on its own, and hit ratios usually pass 95% within hours.
Image optimisation
One image URL, the right file for every screen
Add parameters to any image URL and the edge resizes, crops, converts and watermarks it on the fly, then caches the result. No build step, no per-image fees and no changes to your origin.
- AVIF and WebP, with automatic fallback
- Resize, crop, quality and fit controls
- Your logo as a watermark, applied at the edge
- Each variant cached at the nearest node

Instant purge
Ship a fix and clear it everywhere in under a second
Purge a single file, a path or the whole deployment from the console, the CLI or the API. Every node confirms, usually in well under a second.
- Purge by URL, path pattern or everything
- Scriptable from CI with the Edge CLI and API
- Cache stats update the moment content clears

Global edge network
988 locations, each serving the visitors closest to it. - How pinning works
Edge Cache
Pin critical files at every location so they keep serving even when your origin can't. - How routing works
Smart Routing
Cache misses take the fastest healthy path to your origin and fail over in under a second. Real-time analytics
Traffic, bandwidth, hit rate and latency for each deployment, as it happens.Automatic SSL
Free certificates in under a minute, with TLS 1.3 and HTTP/3 as standard.DDoS and password protection
Attacks are absorbed at the edge. Staging sites can sit behind a password, checked before the cache.

FAQ
Questions teams ask before switching
Still unsure? Talk to the CDN team.
Is bandwidth really free?
Yes. Egress costs $0 at every scale and in every region. You only pay for requests beyond the free tier, at $0.25 per million.
What happens if I go past the free tier?
Nothing you didn't choose. With paid usage off, delivery pauses at the cap and you're never billed. Turn it on and pay-as-you-go takes over, with an optional monthly ceiling.
Can I keep my DNS provider?
Yes. Add a CNAME to cdn.edge.network wherever your DNS lives. For a root domain, use CNAME flattening or an ALIAS record, or move DNS to Edge for free.
How do I migrate from Cloudflare or CloudFront?
Create a deployment on the same origin, test it on a staging hostname, then switch the DNS record. If you'd rather not do it yourself, our team will run the migration.
Do you support HTTP/3 and TLS 1.3?
Both are on by default for every deployment, and certificates are issued and renewed automatically.
