What is a check run?

One probe executed from one location. A check every 5 minutes from 3 locations makes 3 runs every 5 minutes, or 25,920 a month. Your total is checks × locations × runs per check.

What happens when my balance runs out?

Your checks pause. Nothing is deleted: configuration, history and status pages stay put, and checks resume as soon as you top up. Turn on auto top-up to avoid gaps.

How is this different from per-monitor pricing?

Per-monitor tools charge the same whether a monitor runs once an hour from one place or every 30 seconds from ten. Pulse charges only for the runs you execute, so you can tune checks, frequency and locations freely.

How does billing work?

Usage is metered and deducted hourly from the same prepaid balance you use for Edge compute and other services. There's no subscription to commit to, and you don't need a card to start.

How long is monitoring data kept?

7 days on free usage. Once your account has any paid usage, retention extends to 90 days.

Is Pulse generally available?

Not yet. Pulse is in early access: the residential probe network is live, and dashboards, alerting and status pages are in build. The rates on this page are the published ones.
