The humanity score

Every visitor, scored 1–100. Invisibly.

No puzzles, no cookies, no fingerprinting. One API call returns a verdict and a score, so automation becomes a signal rather than a verdict. You decide what happens next.

Three bands

One number, three sensible defaults

1 is confirmed automation, 100 a confirmed human. These bands are a good place to start; tune them to your own traffic.
  1. 1–30 · Block

    Undeclared automation

Scripts that refuse to identify themselves floor the score. Stop them before they reach your forms, or let the tarpit make them pay.

  2. 30–70 · Step up or route

    Uncertain traffic

Ask for an email confirmation, send it to review, or route verified AI agents (flagged separately in the agent field) to the right endpoint.

  3. 70–100 · Welcome

    People

Real visitors sail through without ever seeing a challenge. Your conversion rate will thank you.

How a score is made

Measured at load, refined by behaviour

The first score comes from a small proof-of-work and a handful of browser signals at page load. Once the visitor moves or types, a summary of their motor noise, computed in the browser, refines it and the token is re-minted. Your server only ever sees the refined score.
  • Raw input never leaves the device
  • Every visit starts fresh: no profile, no cookie
  • Tokens are single-use and expire after five minutes

The widget

Produced by a widget nobody notices

One script tag and a div in your form. No traffic lights, no crosswalks, no fire hydrants.
  • Invisible by default

Real people almost never see a challenge.
  • Under 15KB

Dependency-free and framework-agnostic. Core Web Vitals won't notice.
  • No cookies, no tracking

No fingerprint database and no per-visitor storage. Only hourly counters.
  • A score, not a gate

Allow, step up, redirect or block. Your rules, not a binary verdict.

Your dashboard

See who's really visiting

Scores add up to a picture of your traffic: how much is people, how much is declared AI agents, and how much is automation that wouldn't say. Hourly aggregates only, so none of it is about any one visitor.

Integration

Live in five minutes

The sitekey and secret model you know from Turnstile and reCAPTCHA, so migrating is a drop-in change.

Measure first

Why score visitors before you have a problem?

We don't have a bot problem. Why score visitors now?
“No bot problem” is usually an assumption, not a measurement. In invisible mode the score is a measuring instrument: every visitor is scored in the background and your dashboard shows the real mix of people, declared agents and undeclared automation, without a single challenge shown. Most sites are surprised by their first fortnight.
What does scoring early protect?
Your data quality, which is far cheaper to keep than to recover. Fake signups skew funnels and the decisions made from them; bot addresses damage sender reputation for months. Screening at the door keeps your numbers trustworthy.
Why don't AI agents just get a high score?
Because they aren't human, and the score stays honest about that. Agents that sign their requests with Web Bot Auth are identified separately, in the agent field of the siteverify response, so you can route them on identity rather than on a score.
